About us

In 1995 Michel and Selma van der Laan began selling assembled kits of Formula One modelscars in scale 1:43 based on kits from BBR and Tameo. These model where mostly sold to shops abroad. After a few years models where sold worldwide.

​In 1998 Curbstone Models started selling other modelcar brands like Autoart, UT-Models, Minichamps and BBurago. Hotwheels accuired an exclusive licence for all Ferrari modelcars, so this brand was also added to the collection.

In the meantime our location became to small and Curbstone Models moved to the industrial area in Beverwijk where it is still housed today.
