10 Gasley, Pierre

Pierre Gasly started his career as a 10 year old boy in karting in 2006. He competed in the Minime championship for two years before moving to the Cadet championship where he ended the championship in fourth place. In 2009 Gasly started in the International KF3 championship until 2011 when he switched from karting to open wheel racing in the French Formula 4 championship.

Success came in 2013 when Gasly drove the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 for the team of Tech 1 Racing where he was able to win races and secure the championship after a eventful last race.

In 2014 Gasly became part of the Red Bull Racing family when hem join the Red Bull Junior Team together with Carlos Sainz Jr. and Alex Lynn. Carlos proved to be strong, denying Gasly any wins. In 2016 Gasly signed up with Prema Racing where he was able to secure the championship while being chased by Antiono Giovinazzi.

In 2017 the great break came as Russian driver Danill Kyvat was released by Red Bull allowing him to step in for the last races of the season with the vacant seat at Scuderia Toro Rosso. In 2018 Gasly will also compete for Scuderia Toro Rosso.
