Haas F1 Team

Haas F1 Team is a North American racing team founded by Eugine Francis Haas, owner of Haas Automation which manufactures CNC machines. For Gene Haas it is not the first racing team he has set up, in 2002 the Haas CNC Racing Team was established for participation in NASCAR in the former truck racing facility of Hendrick Motorsport. After the successes in NASCAR with Tony Stewart (who became the 50% owner of HAAS CNC Racing), it was announced in 2014 that the HAAS F1 TEAM had submitted a request to the FIA ​​for participation in the 2015 Formula 1 championship.

The team was to start for the first time in a Formula 1 race in the 2016 season, a year later. In Formula 1, the team would mainly be known for its business operations compared to the rules in F1. While other F1 teams are mainly concerned with developing as many aspects of the car as possible in-house, Haas has the philosophy to mainly buy parts. For example, Haas' car does not only have a Ferrari engine, but almost all parts that the FIA ​​allows to be purchased have been purchased by Haas from Ferrari. This strategy did not do them any harm, but much criticism because they would drive a Ferrari copy.
