Ferrari

Ferrari is an Italian sports car manufacturer based in Maranello. Ferrari was founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari as Scuderia Ferrari, a racing team that drove Alfa Romeo's. Not satisfied with the performance of the Alfa Romeo Enzo Ferrari decided to build his own racing cars. However, due to a competition clause, Enzo Ferrari was not allowed to build racing cars under his own name for 4 years. HI for Auto Avio Costruzioni was founded. In 1943 Enzo Ferrari moved his factory to Maranello, where it can still be found today. The black horse on the yellow shield originates from Francesco Baracca, a pilot from the First World War.

In the first year of the championship Formula 1 in 1950 Ferrari was already there with a special version of the Ferrari 125, today they are still there and with that the team that participates only from the beginning of Formula 1.
