Kimi Matias Raikkonen is a Finnish Formula 1 World Champion (2007) for Ferrari. He also raced in the WRC in 2010 and 2011 before returning to F1 do drive again for Ferrari alongside Fernando Alonso in the 2014 season.The Iceman as he is often called was stuggeling in 2014 with the Ferrari only to come in 14th in the championship (with only a signle retirement). In 2015 he was back at his game ending up 4th in the championship with 5 retirements. Teammate Sebastian Vettel was in front of him with a 128 point gap.

The 2016 season started with a Retirement followed by a podium in Bahrain, Russia and Spain. In Spain the Iceman was beaten by Dutchman Max Verstappen as the Fin was quicker the the dutchman but unable to overtake. It was the Dutchman's first VIctory. The gap to Sebastian Vettel was marginal, showing Kimi was able to get most out of the car, but the car was just not quick enough.

2017 started like it ended for Kimi, not being able to catch the guys at the front and being challenged by the guys from Red Bull. He scored a 2nd place podium at Monaco, and was 5 times on the 3rd place podium but some 100 point away from his teammate. He ended the season just some 5 points ahead of Red Bulls Daniel Ricciardo who failed to finish in the last race.
