The 2018 season starts with a new Formula One logo, "out with the old in with the new" the guys at Liberty Media must have thought. "In with the old" the guys at FIAT must have thought as the former Formula One championship brand Alfa-Romeo is brought back at Sauber as Alfa-Romeo-Sauber for the 2018 season. Although the power package is still a Ferrari engine, it will be branded as Alfa-Romeo.
For now the divers below are listed for the upcoming season, note that current world champion Lewis Hamilton again did not opt for the #1 on his car but remained again with his "lucky" #44. We have be deprived of a #1 car for a few years now as Sebastian Vettel was the last to drive a #1 car in 2014.
