Audi

The history of the current Audi starts in 1960 when the Auto Union is bought by Volkwagen. In 1965, the Auto Union and NSU Motorwerke brought together by Volkswagen were presented as Audi and the first Audi was marketed with the Audi F103 Series.

Audi is created by merging four car brands, Horch, DKW, Wanderer and NSU, first to Auto Union and later with the addition of NSU as Audi. By merging the four brands, the well-known four rings are also created.

In 2019, the Audi A1, Audi A3, Audi A4, Audi A5, Audi A6, Audi A7, Audi A8, Audi Q2, Audi Q3, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8, Audi TT, Audi R8 en Audi E-tron produced with a combined number of 450,000 cars in the first quarter of 2019. This makes Audi together with Mercedes Benz and Volkwagen the most produced automobile in the world.
